The Best Omegaverse Book Recs

The Best Books in the Omegaverse

As mentioned, I’m publishing the first book in my new cozy Omegaverse romance series. The series is called The Omega Book Club, and the first book is titled A Pack of Cozy. In preparation for publishing this series, I’ve read as many omegaverse-based books as possible, and my absolute favorites are listed below. Some of these books only lightly follow omegaverse-based rules, and some are fully immersed in the rules of A/B/O or alpha-beta-omega relationships. Every one of these boos had a HEA and was swoon-worthy. I will start with the books most likely to appeal to those not yet fully engrossed in the omegaverse and then move from there. Comment below with any omegaverse books you recommend or love.

the omega book club

The Omega Book Club

The Omega Book Club series is where cozy small-town romance meets sizzling omegaverse spice. Each book follows an omega who gathers with her friends for tea, tarot, and book club chatter—only to find herself tangled up with unexpected alphas and undeniable fated bonds. From Cali’s snow-dusted winter in A Pack of Cozy, to Sunny’s sweet and sticky summer in A Pack of Honey, to Clara’s haunted Halloween in A Pack of Pumpkins, these stories are filled with friendship, found family, and the kind of heat that will keep you turning pages long after the fire has gone out.

Bride 683x1024

Bride by Ali Hazelwood

There are some glaring differences, like the existence of “regular” humans and vampires. And there doesn’t seem to be the same alpha, beta, and omega structure. However, this is a solid fated mate romance and a great introduction to ease a reader into the omegaverse reading experience.

Misery Lark is a vampyre and, for the sake of a truce between her people and the wolves, she agrees to marry their leader, Lowe for one year. She has reasons that have nothing to do with politics or her people. Will Lowe help her?

The Fake Mate 664x1024

The Fake Mate by Lana Ferguson

This book has far more of the typical Omegaverse rules and tropes than Bride. It has the Alpha/Beta/Omega genetic system, societal implications for those classes, fated mates, and scent matches. But it’s still very accessible to the average, non-Omegaverse reader. This is a stand-alone.

In this story, Mack doesn’t want to go on anymore blind dates set up by her insistent, if well-meaning, grandmother. Noah, another doctor where she works, is about to have his career ruined by his alpha designation. The solution? Pretend they’re mated. But as they grow closer, they realize that fated mates might be a real thing.

Knot Her Goal 663x1024

Knot her Goal by Ari Wright

Part of the MVP: Most Valuable Pack Series

This book is part of a stand-alone series in which each book can be read individually without a problem, but they do connect if you’re inclined to read them all, and I was inclined. They are all fun reads, and I loved each one. This is the first book in my list that assumes knowledge of Omega verses. There is a cheat sheet at the front for any Omega verse knowledge you may lack, but the author won’t handhold you through the process.

Meg is just trying to get by. She’s an omega in a world that doesn’t give omegas many financial or career opportunities. Her solution? Pretend to be a Beta to land a marketing job with a high-profile pack. The issue? She’s their mate.

A Pack For Autumn 640x1024

A Pack for Autumn by Emilia Emerson

Part of the Cozyverse Series

This is another stand-alone series. Right now, there are only two, but I hope she writes more. As the series title says, these are cozy, why-choose, RH romances.

Olive is Starlight Groves’s newest lighthouse keeper. She’s looking for quiet and a new start. What she gets is a pack of restorationists working on the lighthouse. Three hot alphas invading her space. But everyone in this relationship is holding on to secrets… and it might not just be the lighthouse that needs restoration.

Once Upon A Pack 655x1024

Once upon a Pack by Ari Wright

Book 1 in the Royalverse series

Yes, this is the same author who is featured above. She also wrote the MVP: Most Valuable Pack Series. She deserves to be on this list twice. Her books are so swoon-worthy. There is so much sweetness packaged in with so much spice. This is the first book in this series. It’s an omegaverse Cinderella retelling. The second book, Bound to the Beasts, seems to be a Beauty and the Beast retelling, and I have already smashed that preorder button. It follows all the traditional omegaverse rules without holding your hand. A/B/O, fated mates, grumpy/sunshine, cinnamon roll, rags to riches, touch her and di*—all the best tropes.

Knot Your Damn Omega 640x1024

Knot Your Damn Omega by Devyn Sinclair

Slate City Omegaverse Series

This book is the first in a series of interconnected standalones all set in Slate City. This series is edgier than the rest. There are a lot of high-stakes situations, and checking trigger warnings with this series is vital. As someone who doesn’t like a lot of stressors in my romance, this one rides the edge for me, but in the end, I still really enjoyed it, and each one does have a HEA.

Esme’s sister is a famous movie star, and she’s famous for being trouble. Whether that reputation is earned or not, it affects everything about her life. So when her scent matches with a pack famous for their tattoo art, she wants to keep it to herself for a while. Can they overcome the challenges of life in the spotlight?

I hope you found something in this list to enjoy. They all gave me something unique to love about the omegaverse. And please subscribe and follow along for future updates on my upcoming romance book A Pack of Cozy, to be released Summer of 2025.
