The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher
Perfect for fans of weird buildings, funny FMC’s, aliens, and bigger on the inside places

The Museum of the Weird, where Kara started working after her divorce, just got a lot stranger. While looking after her uncle’s tourist trap in Alabama, Kara discovers a room that shouldn’t be there, leading to a place that can’t exist. Things spiral from there with T. Kingfisher’s signature style. Seamlessly blending funny characters with creepy settings and plots. This will make you laugh and turn on every light in your house before you sleep.
I have no notes on this one. It was fun and creepy. “Pray that they are hungry” is a great tagline and will leave you wondering about the items around your house.
There’s nothing profound about this book. It’s a creepy popcorn book written with entertainment in mind. Sometimes, that’s all a book needs. I will reread this every time I need something spooky and fun.
